Through the Render Capital Angel Network, our mission is to educate, train and inspire the next generation of early-stage investors in order to stimulate outsized involvement, investment and returns for founders, funders and our region alike.
By utilizing a comprehensive educational curriculum, we believe that we can better prepare new angel investors and introduce them to investment opportunities through presentations from companies looking to raise funds.
If you are ready to join a thriving angel network in your region, come to our kickoff mixer on February 16th at 5:30 pm to celebrate our launch and have a drink. You’ll be able to meet other members and learn about the exciting things we have planned for 2023, such as:
1. Our first monthly educational meeting on March 14th. Thereafter, we will meet the second Tuesday of every month at 5:30 pm. If you can’t make it in person, join us virtually!2. Investment meetings will be held on the 3rd Tuesday of every month beginning in April. We already have our first pitch confirmed for April, so this will be a meeting you don’t want to miss!
At Render Capital, we envision an ecosystem that has the ability to fully participate in the mainstream economy and have the necessary resources to build generational wealth for themselves and their communities. The early growth in angel organizations in the United States occurred because individual angel investors found many advantages to working together; better investment decisions, enhanced deal flow, and the ability to combine their fund into larger investment decisions. Conversely, over the past 5 years in Louisville, two angel networks have closed - largely because of this lack of deal flow, a trusted brand and continued education for a new generation of angel investors.
