The Regional Capital Strategy and program was launched in 2020 in partnership with the United States Economic Development Agency and Access Ventures, a Louisville-based private operating foundation, as an intentional local investment strategy to increase access to capital for our region's entrepreneurs. The First Dollar program provides grants to Black and Brown entrepreneurs at the earliest stage of business development - when capital investment is most critical
